There is just not enough time in the day to do for myself at times. I don’t want to be seen as selfish when I declare I need a moment alone. I desire time to just cater to myself and shut everyone else off. Family, friends, and clients included! My body always reminds me when I need to slow down and have some me time and I always listen.
The holidays are approaching and I can’t help but think about all of my loved ones that have passed away. This is the toughest time of the year for me as a therapist because I have to help my clients through their grieving while I tackle mine as well.
“During the Fall and Winter months people who would normally rather be single or promiscuous find themselves along with the rest of the world desiring to be "Cuffed" or tied down by a serious relationship. I've always been that person who was against therapy. There's always been a stigma attached with therapy. But I finally broke down after hitting rock bottom. I've only been seeing her for about a month but she is AWESOME!!!! Words can't express how good I feel after a session. My only regret is not being referred to her sooner. She is EVERYTHING a therapist should be and more!!!!!
