Thank you for visiting our website www.coreempowerment.org (our “Site”).  Core Empowerment (“Company”) works hard to protect the privacy of our visitors.  We guarantee confidentiality and discretion regarding any and all transactions.  The following Privacy Policy applies solely to the information collected by our Site. The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform you about the types of information that may be collected when visiting our Site, how such information may be used and whether that information is disclosed to anyone.

Information Collection, Use and Sharing

Company collects and uses your personal information to operate our websites and deliver the services you have requested or issue responses to questions you may have asked. We may also use your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available from Company. 

Company does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties. 

However, we may share data with our trusted partners to help us perform statistical analysis, send you emails or postal mail, perform tasks required to complete a purchase transaction, and provide customer support. As a general reminder, please think carefully before you decide to put anything on the internet. For example, if you voluntarily disclose user information in chat areas or bulletin boards (e.g., comments sections), that information could be seen and used by others, and may result in unsolicited messages from others. We are not responsible for the personally identifiable information or other user information you may choose to submit in these public forums. To request removal of your personal information from our blog or community forum, please contact us as provided.

Security

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via our Site, your information is protected both online and offline. Whenever we collect sensitive information (e.g. credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser or looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the web page. 

To collect customer information, we may occasionally use “cookies”, which are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your individual hard drive for record-keeping purposes. Cookies are automatically accepted by most web browsers, however you can change your browser to prevent the storage of cookies.  Our cookies do not contain any personally identifiable information and are only used to facilitate your online experience.  We do not associate cookie information with personal information.

We also protect your information while offline. Only workers who need the information to perform a particular job are granted access to personally identifiable information.

This Privacy Policy covers the Site. While you may encounter links on the Site to other websites, such as those relating to our third-party sponsors, advertisers, and other partners, please note that these websites are not covered by this Privacy Policy. The Site also provides links to possibly copyrighted material that is arguably subject to fair use. 

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the activities of third parties, advertisers, and other partners that may collect your user information while accessing or using such third-party services in connection with your use of our Site (e.g. social media and sharing services). The privacy and information practices of those third parties are not covered by this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy applies only to information collected by us.

The images and text displayed on our Site are protected by the laws of copyright and any copying or distribution of said images or text without our consent is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action. 

Not for Minors

Coreempowerment.org is not directed to individuals under the age of seventeen (17), nor are such individuals permitted to use the Site; accordingly, we request that such individuals do not provide personal information in connection with the use of the Site. If you are the parent or guardian of such an individual who has disclosed personal information to us in connection with the Site, please contact us via Company’s contact page, and we will exercise commercially reasonable efforts to remove such information from our databases and storage systems; we are not liable, however, for any consequences of such information, including any delay or failure to remove such information.

Company reserves the right to modify the terms of our Privacy Policy.  It may be necessary for our visitors to periodically check the terms of this Privacy Policy to determine what information is collected and how we make use of that information.  By using our Site, you acknowledge and consent to the acceptance of this Privacy Policy in effect at the time of use. 

EU Safe Harbor Program

Company complies with the United States: European Union Safe Harbor Program as set forth by the United States Department of Commerce. Company has developed its own privacy policy that conforms to the EU Safe Harbor Framework. Our privacy policy embodies all seven (7) principles of the framework, namely, notice, choice, onward transfer, access, data integrity, security, and enforcement. General Data Protection Regulation Policy (GDPR)

For purposes of this Section, “PII” means information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person that you provide to Company or that Company otherwise acquires from or on behalf of you, your affiliates or any of their respective personnel or agents in connection with the provision of services under this Agreement, whether in written, oral, electronic, or other form, and any copies thereof. An identifiable person is a person who can be identified, directly or indirectly, by reference to an identification number or factors specific to his or her physical, physiological, mental, economic, cultural or social identity. Examples of PII include, but are not limited to, the following: account number (bank account, credit card, etc.), address, biometric identifier, license or identification number, date of birth, government identifiers (such as social security numbers), name, personnel number, photograph or video identifiable to an individual, vehicle identifier or serial number, and may also include other information related to an individual that may directly or indirectly identify the individual (e.g. salary, performance rating, purchase history, call history, etc.).

Company will implement and maintain reasonable and appropriate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to (i) ensure the security and confidentiality of PII; (ii) protect against anticipated threats or hazards to the security or integrity of PII; and (iii) protect PII from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction, taking into due account the risks involved in the processing and the nature of the PII. 

Company shall comply with the confidentiality, privacy, and data security requirements of any federal, state, or local law or regulation in the United States that is applicable to it in connection with the performance of services under this Agreement. 

If your business is located in any of the member states of the European Union, or otherwise has access to the PII of “data subjects” within the European Union for purposes of the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), https://gdpr-info.eu, you agree to notify Company in writing or by e-mail and obtain Company’s consent prior to making any such PII available to Company, and to indemnify Company and hold it harmless from and against any liability Company may incur as a result of Company’s use of such PII in accordance with the provisions of this Section and Company’s privacy policy.
